You will have to follow the correct way to add override configuration parameters to a phone by following the the steps outlined in this article.

Examples:
phone_setting.voice.ring_vol_min="3"
This configuration limits the phone to a volume level between 3 and 15.
force.voice.ring_vol="5"
This configuration will force the phone to ring at a volume level of 5 out of 15 and cannot be adjusted.
