This article will describe the steps to join two Yealink WH6X headsets to the same base unit.
One headset will allow the trainer to interact with the caller; the secondary trainee headset will only hear the audio of the call.
Preparing the Trainer's Headset
Connect the trainer's base unit to a PC with the Yealink USB Connect software installed (must be connected to the base's USB port labeled PC).
1. Navigate to Device Settings
2. Advanced Settings
3. Enable the Permanent conference mode setting
This setting will allow the trainee headset to remain connected to the trainer's base unit after each call.
NOTE: If you do not see this option, you may need to check that the firmware of the headsets are upgraded to the latest version.
