Setup

You may need to have a certain permissions and/or passwords to access some of the menus described in this article. If you need assistance with configurations or access, please reach out to our support team. 

For this feature to work you will need the username and password to the phone and must have the following parameter configured: 

features.action_uri_limit_ip="any"

* Note: the value of this parameter could be limited by an IP address or range of IP addresses, e.g. 10.1.2.3. or 10.1.*.*

You can also enable this parameter in the Web UI on the phone: 

Log into the web interface of the phone by browsing to the phone's IP address in a web browser. Navigate to Features > Remote Control > Action URI Allow IP List

Process

In a browser navigate to http://PHONEIP/screencapture e.g. if you're phone was at 10.60.60.32 you would navigate to:

http://10.60.60.32/screencapture

The first time that you attempt to visit this URL it will prompt for the phone's username and password.

Once entered, the phone will prompt "Allow remote control?": 

To disable this pop-up prompt: 

features.show_action_uri_option="0"

You must select OK on this screen and refresh the URL again to view the screen capture.
