Send eFax Outbound via Email
You can send faxes via email by attaching your file to an email addressed to:
10DIGITNUMBER@fax.callrevu.tel
For example:
5556667777@fax.callrevu.tel
Sending an email with an attached file to this address would send a fax of the attached file to 5556667777.
(To be eligible for email to fax you must have a user on the phone system with your email address assigned to it)
Once the file is sent you should receive confirmation emails that the fax is queued, if it was successful, or if it failed.
LIMITATIONS:
You can attach any number of files as long as their combined size does not exceed 25 MB.

You can also send faxes by logging into your account at https://callrevu.tel/portal
1. Once logged in click on the Fax tab
2. Click on Compose Fax this will present you with a window for the faxing details.
NOTE: Ensure that the From field is the number you wish to send the fax from,
3. Next, click Choose File to locate the file you wish to fax.
4. Enter the To Number you're faxing to.
NOTE: Also, optionally you can add a cover page by selecting Cover Page.
5. Then click Send.
LIMITATIONS:
You can send 1 attachment totaling 20 MB from when sending from the portal.

There is a lot of configuration behind the scenes for users to utilize the faxing platform. If you do not have the options shown above or are receiving errors when following the instructions, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
The CallRevu team is always improving and testing new methods or processes for eFaxing to give more control to end-users and managers.
Configuration Help
Configuring the Users
1. Admin (Office Manager) users will have/click a Fax Settings tab in the portal
2. Then, click on the Users tab
3. Select all of the users that will need faxing capabilities
4. Click Enable
NOTE: if you run into an error that says that the emails are not unique, the unique users are created anyway, non-unique users are not.
All users that want to use the faxing capabilities will need to have unique emails from each other.
Enabling users here will give the users the ability to email to fax as well as be eligible for portal faxing configurations.
Fax Number Configuration
Adding Numbers
- Navigate to Inventory
- Click on the Fax Numbers tab
- Click Add Fax Number
- Enter the 10-digit number to add as an eFax in the Number field
- Select the Enable checkbox
- Click Save
Configuring Number Permissions
In the same menu, for each number, click on the person icon to set the permissions for the User(s).
In the next window, you'll need to add the user(s) that you want to have access to this number first.
Select the user from the drop-down and click Add User.
Then, select all of the permissions you want to grant to the user(s) and click Save Changes.
Note that this is also where you can remove users from any numbers if needed by clicking on the red X next to their entry.
The configured users will now be able to see their assigned numbers in their own portal.
Once this phone system configuration is complete, you must reach out to the CallRevu support team to get the eFax number routed properly in the carrier network. Then the eFax will be ready for testing/use.
