This article is designed to explain the process of importing hardware inventory into the Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS).

Importing Hardware

Before importing you must have the hardware information for the phones you are importing. Including the MAC, Machine ID (Serial Number), and which site they'll belong to.

You may also need to navigate to the sites menu to add a new site prior to importing. 

It is recommended to always import hardware even if it is a single device.

1. First, navigate to the devices screen, and click on Import

2. On the next screen, click Download Template

3. Fill in the hardware information for the phones you are importing. You will need the MAC, Machine ID (Serial Number), and the Site. You may need to create the site before importing or you will get an error.  Save the sheet when complete.

4. Back on the Import Device screen, ensure that the RPS Server field is set to Yes

5. Server Name should be NS

6. Drag and drop the template file, or click and locate the file.

7. Click Upload
