Intro
The CallRevu Voice Prompt Recording Studio allows the creation of voice prompts and music on hold via an AI tool and is directly integrated into the phone system.

Initial Setup
Note: Only users with an Office Manager scope or higher will see these options.
Make sure you're logged into the PBX Manager portal at https://callrevu.tel
Then click on the Recordings Studio menu option:
This will take you to the CallRevu Recordings Studio page and it will ask a few questions to get you started.
- Enter the website of the primary site of your business, the AI will use the data from your home page to help craft the messages and music later on.
- Enter the information requested in the fields to ensure that the AI will be able to craft the message correctly and to your expectations.
- The default voice will be given, you are free to change this to any other voice you find may be better or more suitable to your needs.
- Click Accept Voice.
Generate Content
Generate Greetings
In the next screen you will see that the recordings studio will auto-generate messages to be used in various cases in the phone system. From Welcome messages, closed messages, emergency messages, etc. You will have the options to:
- Change the content of any message you like.
- Choose a different voice for any message.
- Preview the content and hear the voice you've chosen.
- Add the recording to the phone system domain.
Optionally, you can also set up the auto attendant messages by:
- Select how many options the attendant has.
- Enter each option's department or destination.
- Click Generate New Messages
It will then give you the same options as the other messages that were generated to edit, change, preview, or save.
Once you've decided on a message to use:
- Click the + button next to the message.
- In the pop up window, add a name to the file
- Click Create
Generate Music on Hold and Marketing
Music on hold is generated by clicking on On Hold & Queue Marketing section.
Then:
- Preview and select the music you would like.
- Select the message you would like to be mixed into the music.
- Set up the mix:
- Initial Message Wait: Sets the amount of time in seconds before the first message is played.
- Message Spacing: Sets the amount of time in seconds between subsequent messages.
- Click Preview to hear the mix
- Click Upload to add the file to the phone system.
The pop up will allow you to:
- Name the file
- Choose the file type
- Upload the file.
Implementation
Implement Greetings
Navigate back to the phone system and:
- Go to the Auto Attendants menu option.
- Click on the attendant where you want to implement this new audio recording.
- Click the edit icon in the Menu Prompt section.
- Click Upload on the recording file you saved.
Implement User Voicemail Greetings
Messages generated in the Recordings Studio can also be uploaded to user's voicemail boxes as greetings.
- Navigate to Users
- Click on the user you want to add the greeting to
- Navigate to the Voicemail tab
4. Scroll down to the Greetings section and click on the speakerphone icon:
5. A pop-up window will appear, click on the Add Greeting button:
6. Click Upload for the greeting you want to add:
Other Information
If you would like to not use the Recordings Studio and go back to the default prompt management, click on the Recordings Studio toggle:
Implement Music On Hold
To implement the music on hold option:
- Select the Music On Hold menu option
- Select the User, Queue, or Domain option for where you want the new Music on Hold.
3. Click on Add Music.
4. Click on Upload for the file you created.
